"""Afterimage"" is a video installation by Tharim Cornelisse and Axel Schoterman that explores modern media consumption and its (over)production. The installation combines an LED wall with a distorting and etched translucent plastic layer. Short, intense and repetitive bursts of flashing 'found' footage are followed by slower moments where the footage settles - each distorted through the etched plastic, acting as a lens over the LED wall. Soundtrack by Oceanic."
